To this day, I really learnt a lot of concepts from the class of world history. Let me know the causation of my hometown’s shape, development and custom. Also I know a big city must be located around rivers in history. Because rivers can provide people energy sources. So most of cities are also near rivers today. And the climate is equally a most impormant factor for city’s progress. It not only decided the life style of person, but also the religion of the region. Every old-line country have their own language and writing system. It is very important for today. The city that I live in is Beijing, the capital of China. Because of it is the center of politics, economy and culture. Now Beijing becomes the biggest city in China, and one of the biggest cities in the world.

I have learned many important concepts in this World History class. One thing was that many civilizations thrived and became successful due to the stable environment they were given. This concept relates to my own life because the environment that I live in is extremely stable, and continuity is in effect. The United States was able to thrive and become an extremely powerful country because they were given a stable environment and did not have to worry about environmental issues and could purely focus on innovation, specialization, and development. We also learned about the World religion of Christianity. I am a very religious person and this faith is a part of my every day life.

I have also learned many new concepts in World Histpry AP this year. I find it interesting to learn about how important good environment is for the growth of civlizations. As Kristen said, the United States has a stable environment which allowed it to grow. This helped remind me how important the environment is to our world and how important is that we take care of it. I also enjoyed learning about African history and disproving the misconceptions I had about Africa. This is important because I live, go to school, and regularly travel to diverse areas. I find that it is important to learn the history behind cultures you are in contact with.
